For those depressed at the unreasonable pricing implemented in miscrits here is what BBS say about it.
Many players have shown disappointment to see various Miscrits available for sale at different prices then they paid, different currency types, etc.
Players who make purchases of Miscrits within the game receive the Miscrit immediately, but that does not guarantee it's price, currency, or availability in any way. If today you choose to buy a Miscrit for 500 gems, it might be available for 300 gems in a month. The advantage for you is that you purchased the item and got it TODAY, while the person who gets it cheaper doesn't have it for another month.
We do our best to appropriate fair pricing in our game, but there are no guarantees about Miscrits, and there will be none going forward. We're not going to list Elite Rudy for $20 today and sell him for $1 tomorrow, but we often times do limited sales, change currency pricing, etc after time passes to make things available to different players.
This is very similiar to what you might see in other titles. A recent game like Battlefield 4 allows "premium" memberships that allow you to pay and get content "earlier" for a premium price. The advantage is the "exclusivity" of the item for a time. This doesn't remain forever, as the players ALL receive the content in a few weeks.
Our premium, exclusive, higher dollar Miscrits are not suddenly going to be $1 the next day, but there may be sales on them in the future. It is the players prerogative to purchase now or hope in 6-months the price may be lower for a time. This same thing applies to our various platinum bonuses, relic sales, etc. Sometimes you buy when it's cheapest, sometimes you don't.
I wanted to make this post to simply clarify our policy here at Broken Bulb. We do not make pricing guarantees, and will not do so in the future. Our goal is to make this game the BEST game it can be, and as a completely FREE-TO-PLAY game, with no cost to entry, our only revenue is our paid items in game. Those items go to support massive server infrastructure, further development and maintenance, and new patches and items.
