With no relics and proper traits you can hardly earn a platinum in the platinum in the platinum arena. First trick is searching for computer opponents. What to do is you just cancel any opponents whose bar is loading just like the one shown in the figure.
Second trick is to wait for weekends. As most of the pro players has already completed their platinum arena battles there is high chance of finding easy opponents in the platinum arena.
